THIS IS A TWELVE-TEAM TOURNAMENT FOR 50 AND OVER, AND A SIX-TEAM TOURNAMENT FOR 60 AND OVER. EACH TEAM IS GUARANTEED 4 GAMES WITH POOL PLAY ON THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WITH CONSOLATION GAMES AND THE FINAL ON SUNDAY. FOR FIRST AND SECOND PLACE CHAMPIONSHIP CUPS
WE WILL ATTEMPT TO HAVE TWO INTERNATIONAL\MAINLAND TEAMS IN EACH GROUP WITH TWO TEAMS FROM EITHER MAUI, KAUAI, THE BIG ISLAND OR OAHU. TO DATE WE HAVE TEAMS FROM VANCOUVER-CANADA, MID-WEST, CALIFORNIA, AND HAWAII. ONCE THE TWELVE TEAMS ARE FILLED, THE GROUPS ARE CLOSED.
This year’s 2009 Mayors Gold Cup was great tournament with the following 12 teams participating:

Based on team feedback, the 2010 tournament will have two divisions:
60 and Over Division, 6 teams
50 and Over Division, 12 teams
Teams will be accepted on a first come first in bases. Once we reach the total number of teams, the Division will be closed. Deadline for non-refundable $500 entry fee 12/15/2009.
The format for play will be as follows:
Each division will have pool play on Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. Semi finals will take place on Saturday afternoon and the finals on Sunday.
There will be awards for 1st and 2nd place.
Games on Saturday will be 60 minutes. All others will be 80 minutes. All teams play 5 games. Games on Thursday and Friday will be at the Ala Wai field and and the Waipio Soccer Park. On Saturday and Sunday all games will be at the Waipio Soccer Park.
